Electrical Engineer Roland V. Fitzroy (1922-2004) worked on the Manhattan Project at Berkeley with Robert Oppenheimer and others after he was sent to Oak Ridge in Tennessee to weed out potential spies in the system. He later went on to do important work for General Electric at KAPL (Knolls Atomic Power Lab) in Schenectady, New York. In this video, produced in 2010 by the Edison Tech Center, TV Anchor Ernie Tetrault speaks with Dr. Nancy Fitzroy about the work her husband did for the war effort.
